Snow Day

The kids came home from school and I said, "Kids take off your back packs, put on your snow pants, hats and gloves we're going out to play in the snow today. No homework or having to practice piano today. It's playtime!" I think they were all wondering what I had done with their mother. We had a great time and I'm so glad we went out when we did, because just as we finished it began to rain and melt and that has been our only snow of the season.

School Winter Holiday Program

Joshalyn is part of the Elementary School Choir and Shad was an elf in the Winter Holiday Program.  They all did a wonderful job!  I love the music and plays of the Christmas season.

We enjoyed a day at Cornbelly's in Utah with Baldwin and Herzog cousins.

Fall Canning

We canned grape juice, applesauce and dried some tomatoes this fall.  It was so much fun!  Lynette(my partner in crime) said let's do more next year!  So that's the plan.  I am grateful to her for all of her help and expertise.  The kids enjoyed helping as well.
